Service Description

Advanced CCW – Modern Defensive Tactics (MDT) This program is built for concealed carriers and duty professionals who are ready to move beyond basic qualification and into the real-world skillset required to survive a violent encounter. This course focuses on the elements of armed defense that actually determine outcomes: processing speed, movement, access, timing, and decision-making under pressure. Traditional CCW training teaches students to shoot. MDT teaches students to fight with a gun. Students learn how to access and deploy their firearm under stress, manage close-quarters threats, fight from compromised positions, and recognize danger early enough to act decisively. The emphasis is on realistic concealed carry — not square-range marksmanship. Topics include: • Close-range threat encounters How real fights unfold inside three yards, and how to control distance long enough to draw. • Accessing your firearm under pressure Drawing from concealment in real situations: seated, belted, off-balance, or physically engaged. • Movement, angles, and timing How to move before shooting, break the attacker’s timeline, and create space for safer engagement. • Concealed carry from vehicles Appendix and hip-carry mechanics in confined spaces, seatbelt management, and defensive positioning. • Retention and entanglement concepts Protecting your firearm when the attacker is within arm’s reach or attempting to grab your weapon. • Decision-making at speed Recognizing threats earlier, processing chaos faster, and avoiding the freeze response. • Legal and post-incident considerations Understanding the defensive context of your actions and how to articulate your decisions responsibly. This is not a beginner course. Advanced CCW is for responsible adults who carry daily or intend to, and who understand that owning a handgun is not the same as being able to fight with one.
