CLEET CE: Off Duty Handgun

Service Description

This CLEET-approved continuing education course is designed for armed security, private investigators, and bail enforcement professionals. Off-duty Hangun CLEET-approved continuing education is offered in a small-group, private classroom setting. CE sessions are scheduled regularly and may be conducted with limited enrollment to accommodate individual schedules. CE Eligible Full Course for 4 hours. classroom and love-fire. Off-Duty Handgun for Armed Professionals is a one-day continuing education course designed to address the realities of carrying a handgun outside of an on-duty or enforcement role. The course focuses on context shift, restraint, and accountability rather than tactics, speed, or enforcement activity. This course exists to reset expectations for armed professionals carrying off duty, emphasizing the loss of visible authority, absence of backup, and increased civil and personal exposure. Classroom instruction establishes decision frameworks that are later validated through conservative live fire and formal qualification. The course is delivered in two primary phases: classroom instruction followed by live-fire validation. The classroom phase establishes context and decision criteria. The range phase confirms discipline and control rather than skill development. Students are given the opportunity to qualify with their off-duty weapon. During the live fire portion, studnet are required to bring their off-duty firearm, 100 rounds of ammo, their off-duty holster, and range safety equipment.
