NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting OKC

Service Description

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course in Oklahoma City provides new and developing handgun owners with professional, hands on instruction in firearm safety, pistol operation, shooting fundamentals and marksmanship. Pricing varies based on the number of students, with discounted per-person rates available for couples and small groups. This is more than an introduction to shooting. Students learn how to safely handle and operate a handgun, understand ammunition and pistol function, build a consistent shooting process, maintain their firearm and develop the fundamentals necessary for accurate, confident shooting. Training includes classroom instruction and practical live fire exercises designed to help students understand not only what to do, but why it works. Your instructor, Bobby Brawdy, brings nearly two decades of professional firearms experience involving bail enforcement, fugitive apprehension, investigations and personal protection, along with experience as a certified firearms instructor. That perspective allows students to learn the fundamentals while also understanding how those skills fit into the larger responsibility of owning a firearm for personal protection. This course is ideal for first time gun owners, beginner handgun shooters, couples, families, or anyone wanting to rebuild their pistol fundamentals correctly. Students who successfully complete all NRA course requirements receive the applicable NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting certificate. Private and small group training is available by request in the Oklahoma City area. Request a date to discuss availability.
