This learning-intensive workshop is for those who want to move past basic fundamentals and prepare for more demanding work, but find that conventional range training isn’t getting them there. This is not a traditional fundamentals course. The focus is on rebuilding foundational skills in a way that supports consistency as demands increase, using practical, performance-based methods rather than classroom theory. The work centers on correcting the root causes that limit consistency when shooters begin to operate at higher speed or under pressure. The objective is a reliable shot process and tighter groups that hold together with increased speed and distance. This is a small, half-day workshop capped at ten participants to allow for direct observation and meaningful correction. Participation is by request to ensure proper fit and keep the group focused. All spots must be paid in advance. Shooters must already be able to safely and consistently draw from a holster, reload, and shoot under normal time constraints. These are prerequisites, not skills taught during the workshop. Shooters who are unable to meet these prerequisites may be redirected to more appropriate training. This training includes an annual CLEET Handgun requalification at no additional charge. Shooters must provide their own gear CLEET-authorized pistol (for CLEET CE) 250 rounds of factory-loaded, soft-core FMJ ammo Appropriate holster (duty holster recommended) At least one additional magazine with appropriate magazine holder Bottle of water, small snacks, and appropriate attire recommended. These materials are provided solely for the educational benefit of enrolled students and may not be reproduced, distributed, recorded, or used to develop or deliver competing training without the express written permission of OPS Tactical. For certain courses, students may be required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as a condition of participation to further protect confidential and proprietary training methods and materials.
